KU-Band Block Up Converter

The BUC model has automatic gain control (AGC), automatic level control (ALC), and internal diagnostics. BUCs also allow extensive monitoring and control via software commands and alerts that provide access to the unit’s multiple operational parameters and functions. 

Automated gain control (AGC), automated level control (ALC), and internal diagnostics are all features of the BUC model. Through software instructions and alerts that give access to the unit’s numerous operating characteristics and functions, BUCs also enable broad monitoring and control.

Access to features and monitor and control (M&C) capabilities are made possible through a handheld terminal, RS232, RS485, TCP/IP (Telnet, HTTP), UDP (SNMP), and FSK (Frequency Shift Keying) communication through the IFL cable. A multi-function LED is also included in the BUC model providing visual status information.
